About The Art
Art is a product of the merging of an artist's dreams
and skills to achieve fulfillment of an emotional
response to one's environment. In other words, finding
the image worth being rendered is like looking for a
visual connection with the vital aspects of nature,
existence, and well-being. My feeling is that art, at
it's best, merges with some emotions. Primarily the
emotion of excitement or passion for the art beyond just
the visual appeal. Art can be a meditation or visual
exploration. At a painting's completion it may not have
any power to excite and just exist as a graphic
representation of a place. However I believe a
successful painting does more than just represent a
place visually. It transports you there.
